During Day 2 of Penang Living Lab, we are honored by the presence of Yang Berhormat Wong Hon Wai, the current Penang State Executive Councillor (EXCO) for Tourism and Creative Economy during the event's official opening ceremony.

On behalf of Root & Bark and all of the PPLACE Team, we are very grateful for YB Wong Hon Wai and the Penang Government's steadfast efforts in supporting initiatives to help improve Penang's Creative Economy and preserving our Rich Heritage.

Today, we did a briefing and short presentation about us to the PPLACE Team and event facilitators so that they can explain to the guests and visitors~

I am deeply honored and grateful to Bukit Mertajam Jit Sin Independent High School for inviting me once again, giving me the opportunity to share basic knowledge of textiles and the principles of natural dyeing with the students. Throughout the process, every student was eager to learn, creative, and dedicated in creating their own unique dyed works. 💯💯
