A Day as a Physiotherapist Volunteer at Silver Jubilee Old Folks Home

After a month of preparation, we were excited to serve the 128 residents at the Silver Jubilee Old Folks Home. Our team of six, along with two in-house physiotherapists, provided personalized care to over 60 seniors, addressing their pain and teaching simple movements to manage it.

We started at 8:45 am, enjoyed a delightful lunch and appreciation ceremony, and resumed from 1 pm to 3 pm. Some seniors facing financial challenges and without families but they are incredibly friendly and appreciative Generous community donations support them, though they wish for more meat in their meals.

The home is clean and welcoming, with dedicated staff. We also extend our physio services to the staff, helping their discomfort and teach them correct exercises.

The day was filled with smiles and laughter, ending with blessings and heartfelt gratitude.
