Hi, my name is Vince, Lee Soon Heng. I joined NRS in 2014 after Mr. Chew offered me the position of Control and Instrument Engineer.

Since then, I have been deeply involved in the electrical and control design of ammonia for every project awarded to NRS. As part of my role, I actively source and evaluate advanced control components and instrumentation available in the market, identifying solutions that can be effectively integrated into our ammonia refrigeration control systems. The goal is always to achieve more stable and accurate system control, which directly contributes to improved operational efficiency and energy savings.

One of the most significant and rewarding projects I was involved in was my very first project with NRS, where I supported Mr. Chew in implementing the first VFD drive system on a Vilter piston compressor. This innovation later evolved into what is now known as the NRS VariCold Systems, one of the standard systems currently offered by NRS.

My most recent project involved the commissioning and startup of an ASRS Cold Storage facility in Cebu. A major challenge during this project was initiating the temperature pull-down of a newly constructed ASRS cold storage without affecting the room temperature of the existing ASRS cold storage. Through careful planning and precise control strategies, we successfully achieved this without compromising system performance.

I look forward to taking on more challenging projects in the future. As an engineer, I am driven by challenges and take great satisfaction in developing effective and to overcome them.
