A powerful, intimate theatre experience by Kaite O’Reilly (Writer/Director), created and performed by disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent (OKU) artists — Ho Lee Ching , Wheelsmith , with guest performers Gejaletchumi Murugaya and Ammar Karim , and featuring Calysta Tay as Creative Access Artist.

Together, they share what it truly means to carry and be carried — in ways that are physical, emotional, and deeply human.

《Being Carried》身障藝術家親身上陣，
以劇場訴說“承載”與“被承載”的生命故事。

由英國知名劇作家兼導演Kaite O’Reilly領軍創作，聯合本地身心障礙（OKU）藝術家共同演出的全新劇場作品《Being Carried》，將於7月24日至26日在吉隆坡表演藝術中心（klpac）Pentas 2舉行，僅演出3場。

《Being Carried》是馬來西亞與英國攜手打造，結合文字、肢體、聲音與視覺元素的作品，以細膩而真誠的方式呈獻身障群體鮮少被聽見的聲音，透過他們的親身經歷，帶領觀眾重新思考人與人之間“承載”與“被承載”的關係。

這次與Kaite O’Reilly合作的大馬藝術家計有：神經多樣性及身障劇場工作者、Teater Untuk Semua創辦人Ho Lee Ching，以及音樂人兼國際輪椅橄欖球運動員Wheelsmith。聾人藝術家Gejaletchumi Murugaya以及聾人舞者及編舞家Ammar Karim亦獲邀參與演出。

此外，為了讓更多觀眾都能享有平等的觀演體驗本次制作特別邀請手語翻譯戴憶伶擔任Creative Access Artist，將“無障礙”融入作品創作過程之中， 成為作品不可或缺的一部分。

《Being Carried》將於7月24日至26日在 klpac Pentas 2 演出，僅限3場。門票已在 https://www.cloudjoi.com/shows/being-carried 平台公開發售。
