I was 6 when I came to Mexico for the first time.

12 when our family moved to Guadalajara for the year, and have come back here just about every year since.

Marc and I came here for our first vacation here and although it was never planned, I’m somehow not surprised we ended up living just an hour away from that spot.

It’s been a very special place to me all these years.

A place where I’ve experienced deep healing, celebrations with friends and families, a place that’s always felt like home away from home and now, the people, the culture, and where we’re living our dream lives with career we love.

Receiving our residency holds a lot of meaning and I’m so excited to continue journey here in Mexico. 🇲🇽❤️

How’s your relationship with social these days?

I just took 3 weeks off — which felt wild in a time where all I wanted to do was share.

But what I actually n e e d e d… was to go inward.

Here’s the thing, so often we look for validation outside of ourselves.

We post something, and before we know it, our self-worth is tangled up in likes, comments, or views.

But the truth?

That chase doesn’t fill us up. It chips away at our happiness, pulls us out of the present moment, and makes us question our authenticity.

Taking a break reminded me: my worth doesn’t live in an app.

It lives in how I feel day to day.

In my connections.

In the way I show up for myself.

These posts, this form of sharing now feel like the aftermath of self-worth built from the inside out. 💕
