Unfortunately he passed away in Belize not allowed to return due to his immigration Status when visiting family in 2012.
His Cousin USMC Roman Sabal
(Former Deported Veteran) will receive the flag and take it to his family in Belize. The 82nd Airborne Honor Guard and myself will render Honors for Thomas,
Thomas has already been laid to rest any prayers and support are welcome

Hello-



On Tuesday, the Board will be discussing Item 8: Support for Veteran Service Recognition Act by Congressman Mark Takano https://file.lacounty.gov/SDSInter/bos/supdocs/208445.pdf. The motion directs the County Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations branch to support the bill. It also requests that the County’s Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the Office of Immigrant Affairs to work together to provide legal services to our undocumented veterans.



We need in-person speakers and or callers to support the motion. Please let me know if you will call-in or be in-person.
