The Beetle's shape wasn't an accident—it was shaped by wind tunnels! 🌪️
Long before computer simulations, early air-cooled prototypes were tested in aviation wind tunnels during the late 1930s. The iconic curved roof and sloped tail were specifically designed to let air flow smoothly over the body, reducing drag. That slippery shape is exactly why a humble 25-horsepower engine could still cruise comfortably at highway speeds back in the day! ✈️
