i'm ready to want you

ready to be alive

to know what it is

to thrive be a part

included sacred

a vision

visionaries are useless

without beings to

inspire be inspired by

i hold a knife in my hand

intermittently i make a cut

into my forearm

slice and skin splits

blood it trickles out

drops fall making a pattern

almost without thought

my arm moves in gentle circles

creating waves spiraling out

healing happens here

danger too

drawing myself to the edge

crux of disaster and resurrection

am i barren or just bleeding?

a voice cracks calling out

is it my own?

to the beings who guide me
