Ever wonder what being a Lucky Dog dog walker actually looks like? 💛
Honestly… a lot of it looks like this. 😄
Tiny puppies learning how to “walk like the big dogs,” making new furry friends, getting exercise, fresh air, laughs, and helping rescue pups learn the skills they’ll need for their future FURever homes. 🐶
Many of our volunteers are:✨ new to the area✨ can’t adopt right now✨ miss having dogs in their life✨ want to help without a huge time commitment
Most volunteers help just ONE short 2–3 hour shift per week, and new volunteers are always paired with experienced team members first. No deep end of the pool around here. 🐾
It’s low-pressure, meaningful, social, and honestly a pretty great way to make both human and dog friends.

🚨 LAKE CHAPALA AREA – PLEASE HELP 🚨
My dog Mila is missing and we are desperately trying to find her 💔
She was lost in San Juan Tecomatlán (near the highway, Chapala/Ajijic area) a few days ago.
👉 It’s very possible that someone kindly picked her up thinking she was a stray and brought her into the Lake Chapala area.
🐕 Shiba Inu (female)
🎨 Reddish/tan color with lighter chest
🌀 Curled fluffy tail
⚠️ NO collar
😟 Very shy and easily scared
🙏 She has a loving family and we are searching for her day and night
👉 If someone has her, no problem at all—we just want her back home
