In matters of the Goddess, it is essential to distrust and reject those initiations which are descended from men, male priesthoods, male mystery traditions, and the like.
Wicca is a classic example.
Men are not trustworthy to educate us on the Goddess mysteries, as they have not demonstrated a willingness, as a group, to relinquish the heirarchy and dominator methods of relationship.
Men can respond to the Goddess and become wonderful Teachers when walking their true solitary Way.
You will know them by their loneliness, or even, by their Sisterhood.
Men in groups may be kind and well intentioned, but when taking their powers and concepts from the traditions of western Magick, and its patriarchal foundations in Egyptian, Babylonian, Greek, Mesopotamian and Hebrew Mysticism, their individual knowings are subsumed by millennia of patriarchal training.
Leave them.
Leave their degrees.
Leave their Hermeticism and Law.
The Goddess is not in them.
She did not hand them Her priesthood.
What power they use in their traditions, was taken by force.

Initiation is not available by a course of study.
Initiation is by lightning strike, by snake bite, by crashing wave, by volcanic eruption, by calamity, by the voice that interrupts your careful planning.
Initiation is by the Eye that opens suddenly.

You will know Her when She taps you.
