Zomba City Council says it is yet to access its allocation of funds for project preparation under the reformed Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

The Ministry of Finance recently announced the release of K7.8 billion in CDF allocations to local councils, with disbursements made only to councils that submitted the required work plans and project documentation.

Speaking to YFM, Zomba City Council Public Relations Officer Aubrey Moses said the council has received official communication from the Ministry of Finance regarding the funds but has not yet received the allocation.

Moses said the council has fulfilled all the required conditions, including the submission of work plans and project documentation, and has no outstanding issues.

Kum’mawa kuno, oyimira mbali ya oganiziridwa pa mulanduwu, a Michael Goba Chipeta, akuyembekezeka kufunsa mafunso a Pangeti.
