With that, we can confidently say the UNIMA Computing Society Symposium 2026 has come to an end.

History has been written. Connections have been made. Standards have been set.

We wrap up our second session with a special moment of appreciation — gift presentations to our esteemed guests 🎁

The session was highlighted by Henry Sauzande, who left us with a powerful reminder: “Get organized as students, get corporated, and the rest will follow.”

A message that speaks directly to growth, structure, and preparing for the professional world.

As we head into lunch, stay with us for more updates.

We kicked off by rounding up our first session with a powerful breakout panel discussion themed “From Code to Company.”

Featuring Peter Ngwira, Christopher Chilenga, and the HOD Dr Kondwani Munthali, the session delivered practical and thought-provoking insights for every aspiring tech professional.

Key takeaways included the importance of keeping projects simple and impactful, building strong social capital, and positioning oneself beyond just technical skills.

“Building connections, not corruptions.” — Dr Munthali

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally in motion 🔥

A select few from the University of Malawi Computing Society have gathered at the TFM Centre of Excellence, ready to showcase their skills and sell their vision to the industry.

This is the standard. This is the movement.
We are not here to change the world…

We are here to dominate our space and set the pace.
