Development Concept

Development Concept, with financial support from Egmont Trust,in 2025 has trained 100 new beneficiaries from four villages in Machinga under Traditional Authority Nkula in Village Savings and Loan (VSL) groups. This activity is part of the broader Integrated Approach for Community Empowerment project, which aims to strengthen the capacity of local communities to manage their savings, access loans, and improve their economic well-being.

Through practical sessions and group discussions, participants gained skills to organize, save, and borrow responsibly, promoting sustainable development at the grassroots level. This training demonstrates a strong commitment to empowering vulnerable groups with tools for financial independence and poverty reduction. Reducing the impact of HIV and AIDS in vulnerable communities.
