Fuel pump prices have been increased by the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority by an average of 41.6 percent, effective today.
In a statement indicated by MERA board chairperson Lucas Kondowe that petrol will now be sold at K4,695, up from K3,499, while diesel will now be sold at K4,945, up from K3,500.
This marks the second increase within five months.
