Serve God for healing

How can you come and ask for Divine healing when you know that your heart’s not right with God, to serve Him? See, you want to go back out and do the things that’s in the world. You’ll never get healed like that, see. You must come clean before God, and dedicate your life and heart to God, and then God will heal. And it’s lasting then, ’cause your faith has been anchored.

196 Oh, thanks be to God, that when a man has once come to Christ and been redeemed by the precious Blood, the devil can never make you a slave again. You’re secure in the Blood of Jesus Christ until the day of your redemption. A slave, look it up in the Exodus, and find out if that ain’t the Levitical laws. 34 I would like to—like to read tonight from the Book of Jeremiah 8:22, one verse:

Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is…the health of the daughter of my people not recovered?

35 That was the question that Jeremiah, under the inspiration of God, asked as he brought this message many years ago in the gate of the temple. The city and the people had altogether gone out away from God. And God told Jeremiah the prophet to go stand in the gate and to speak these words: “Is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there? And then, if there is, why is it then that the health of the daughter of My people,” which is the Church, “is not recovered?”

WHO IS YOUR TUTOR?

But then what if the son still won’t obey? That son, though he is a son, we can’t say that he’s not a son, but HE WILL NEVER HAVE ANY INHERITANCE.

That father says that he won’t listen, “HE WON’T OBEY, I CAN’T PUT TRUST IN HIM, I’ll just have to let him go. HE'S ALWAYS A SON.”

Now, if you’re borned of the Spirit of God, I have to stay with that, because you’re a son of God. But if you…You lose all your—your, the glory.

Then what if this son is a good son, an obedient son? Oh, how he loves the father! How the—the tutor would like to say, “Oh, dad, I’ll tell you what! You know that boy of yours, he’s a chip off the old block. I’m telling you, he’s just ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS, just as…Why, he take care of it as good as you can right now!”

How the father swells up: “Oh, sure, that’s my boy!” That’s the way I want Him to think about us.
