On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, faith, wisdom, and sacrifice of women everywhere. Islam gives us timeless examples of extraordinary women whose lives continue to inspire generations.

We remember Maryam (AS), the mother of Prophet Isa (AS), who is honored in the Qur’an for her purity, devotion, and unwavering trust in Allah. Her story reminds us of patience, faith, and dignity in the face of trials.

We celebrate Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA), the first believer in Islam and the beloved wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A successful businesswoman and a pillar of support for the Prophet during the earliest and most difficult days of Islam, she represents loyalty, courage, and generosity.

We honor Fatimah bint Muhammad (RA), the beloved daughter of the Prophet, known for her humility, kindness, and strength. She is remembered as a role model of family devotion, patience, and piety.

We remember Asiya (RA), the wife of Pharaoh, who stood firmly in faith despite oppression and cruelty. Her courage shows that true faith can shine even in the darkest circumstances.

We also recognize Aisha bint Abu Bakr (RA), a brilliant scholar and teacher who preserved and transmitted thousands of teachings of the Prophet, helping shape Islamic knowledge for centuries.

These women are not only figures of history, they are symbols of faith, knowledge, resilience, and leadership. Their stories remind us that the strength of women has always been central to the spiritual and moral foundations of our communities.

Today, we celebrate the women who came before us, the women among us, and the women who will shape the future.
