Live Action Video – Rights Side of Life

In 2024, we produced a 4-minute live-action video for the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, based on findings from the Rights Side of Life baseline human rights survey.

Combining filmed interviews with clear infographics, the video translated key survey findings into an engaging and easy-to-understand visual story. The narrative presents the data in a relatable way while maintaining accuracy and clarity.

Ran Kakida managed the full production process, including scripting, filming, editing, and graphics integration. The final video was delivered with subtitles and sign language interpretation to ensure accessibility for a wider audience.

First day of ramadan 1447

Roadha Kurukurun in Dhivehi means to shorten the fast. It’s a commonly used term for doing something entertaining to make the time pass faster while fasting, especially during the evening right before iftar. This often includes flying a kite, taking walks, going for rides, playing games, taking naps, and exchanging food. The few hours before iftar are either Roadha Kurukurun or complete chaos in the kitchen.

Graphic Posts – Power to Persuade Campaign

We designed a set of eight graphic posts in both English and Dhivehi to strengthen Power to Persuade’s presence on social media.

Minimalist yet colorful, these posts highlighted the importance of inclusion and accessibility in civic and public spaces, echoing the campaign’s core messages. Each design was crafted to be easily understandable and shareable, making the information approachable for a wide audience.

Together, the graphic posts created a cohesive visual identity across P2P’s social media channels, promoting awareness and encouraging participation through clear, accessible design.

Motion Graphics – Power to Persuade Campaign

To visually communicate key messages around accessibility and inclusion, we created seven motion graphic videos for the Power to Persuade campaign.

These bright and colorful animations explained topics such as involving persons with disabilities in election-related advisory committees, ensuring accessible public information, and training election officials to communicate effectively with everyone. Each video included English subtitles and sign language interpretation, ensuring accessibility across audiences.

The motion graphics added vibrancy to the campaign while simplifying complex policy ideas into clear, engaging, and inclusive visuals.
