About the role
As a result of our rapid growth, we’re looking for a drafter to join our drafting technician team to support them in dealing with daily operation/administration tasks. There is a possibly to evolve to the position of operation supervisor.

Responsibilities
• Position is fully responsible for Drafting & Design Shop Drawings and As- built drawings for MEP projects.
• The employee’s responsibility includes drafting, design, drawing and preparation of HVAC, Public Health, Drainage, Fire Fighting layout, small power, lighting layout, power layout, fire alarm, telephone, CCTV, MATV and lightning protection layout.
• Achieving the planning schedules by teamwork, proper planning, and management skills.
• Co-ordination with Contractors, Subcontractors and Consultants to gather product and structural requirements and design for proper submission of drawings.
• The employee’s responsibility also includes site survey, measurement on site, piping design, design calculation etc.
• Provide material list as per drawing requirements
• Send and update progress report daily.
• Maintaining quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Attend site meetings.
• Snagging and De-Snagging tasks.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards

Location & commitments
An 11 months contract
Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (occasional overtime may be required).
Abercombie, Port Louis

Candidate requirements
• Must have a good grasp of Autodesk Autocad and Autodesk Revit
• At least 2 years' of experience in this post

About the role
As a result of our rapid growth, we’re looking for a junior quantity surveyor to join our tendering/quantity surveyor team.

Responsibilities
• Review and checking the BOQ at the starting of the work.
• Review and checking the contract conditions and technical requirements with regards to BOQ.
• Prepare the measurement for the quantities of the finished works.
• Prepare lists of the site needs (material, workers, technicians)
• Calculate the remuneration of the subcontractors, workers, equipment’s,…etc.
• Prepare the payment statements
• Prepare the detailed reports describing the situation of the items quantities, (plus or minus the contract BOQ)
• Prepare additional works quotations and follow up of claims.

Location & commitments
Full-time, 11 months contract
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 17:00pm (Occasional overtime may be required)

Candidate requirements
• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Previous position in Mechanical and Electrical estimation is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction and Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• A valid driver's license.
• Great networking abilities.
• Previous experience in a similar administration position is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Must have a strong grasp of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Keeping track of materials ordered and delivered on site.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
