The Competition Commission is pleased to announce that the “𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 (𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗣)” has come into operation and will be valid until 25 November 2026. To this effect, the Competition Commission has issued the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗣 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 as well as the 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 on its website.

A series of guidance documents have also been developed for information purposes and to assist interested persons in better understanding TACAP: 𝗙𝗔𝗤𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗣 and a 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗣, which are also available on the website.

As highlighted by 𝗠𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗵, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: “The Competition Commission is committed to ensuring that TACAP is not only accessible in law, but also practical and understandable in its implementation. By publishing the TACAP Application Form, Template Undertakings and accompanying guidance documents, the Commission aims to simplify the application process, provide greater clarity on the applicable requirements and conditions, and assist applicants in making accurate and informed submissions.”
