Today is Swami Vivekananda's birthday. (Born 12 January 1863 died July 1902) He is remembered and cherished for his inspiring speech at the World Religion Conference, Chicago.1892. He won everybody's heart when he addressed the gathering as Brothers and Sisters of the world
Swamiji spoke on the essence of Vedanta and the vastness of the Sanatana Dharma. Thereupon.he received several invitations in the US and Europe. He responded to most of them and spoke on tne vedic view of life and spirituality. He impressed his listeners and opened the paths for Indian yogis everwhere he went.
