The sale isn't finished when your customer places an order. What do you do after that sale?

You helped your customer choose the perfect gift, but heard nothing from them. Forming that relationship and helping them choose was exactly why you started your business and it gives you a sense of joy. Helping the next customer, but something still niggles you about not hearing from the last one. Maybe you should contact them and check they’re happy with the purchase, but you don’t want to feel pushy.

Are you wasting an opportunity?

You work with customers, helping them select the right product and following the sale through to delivery. Then you move on to the next customer. You do need new customers, but what about the ones who have already bought from you? Do you have a process for repeat customers? You build relationships during the buying process, but what about follow-up, feedback and loyalty?

The relationship doesn’t end at the sale. There’s a further process that keeps customers coming back.

That customer who loves their purchase will think of your service, but you need to stay top of mind for their next gift. It’s not just about products, it’s about extending your sales process into after-sales care.

Nothing too complicated:

Communication
Smooth delivery
Follow-up
Thank you messages
Review requests
Customer experience

You want customers to remember you and recommend you. Word of mouth is powerful - good or bad. You want them to feel confident that friends and family will receive the same level of service. Great service gets talked about.

Finally, you don’t just have new customers - you have repeat customers who think of you every time they need a gift or want to treat themselves. You’re building a community of loyal customers who trust and recommend your service.

DM me RETURN if you want your customers to keep coming back again and again.

The biggest change wasn't having fewer tasks. It was finally having time to focus.

She was always thinking there weren't enough hours in the day to complete everything she wanted to and questioned her productivity. What she didn't realise was that it wasn't a lack of time causing the problem. It was the constant interruptions pulling her away from the work that would actually move the business forward.

The uploads for the new products has started and now you can arrange that appointment with that new supplier you want to start using but…

there are messages to answer
A payment issue to check
Order notifications
Emails to respond to

The supplier calls get moved to tomorrow. Again

As a business owner there are tasks that you don't need to be doing. Together we identify the tasks that repeatedly interrupt your day and stop you from focusing on growth. Once those tasks have support around them, you can finally focus on the work that genuinely needs your expertise and attention.

The feeling of always playing catch up and never being able to forward think is overwhelming, so much so that reaching out became a necessity for the business and for her. She needed that time to be able to stop and think rather than switch between tasks and never get the important bits done.

Time was now on her side and she had new stock on the website, was cultivating relationships with brand new suppliers and had promotions and new seasons planned well in advance. Everything felt easier now that she had space, now she could really think about business growth.
