🎥 Filmmaker – Gustavo Garrafa
Gustavo Garrafa is an Italian-Argentinian writer and director, known for his work in television, animation, and independent cinema. He began his career directing and writing various Italian television programs before moving into independent filmmaking and audiovisual storytelling. His novel COLUMNS – La ladra Elenie Chery was adapted from the television series of the same name, which he also wrote and directed.
Garrafa is also the creator of several animated series, including Plush Puppies and ButterflyZ, distributed on platforms such as Amazon prime video and other international channels worldwide. Throughout his career, he has received numerous international awards and selections for his cinematic and audiovisual works.
Among his most notable film projects are OOP Saga, OOP Saga: Times Opposite Path, The Last Straw, and Le Scale Invisibili, a poetic and symbolic short film shot in the historic center of Corato, blending realism with fairy-tale atmospheres. Alongside live-action filmmaking, Garrafa continues to develop animated and multimedia projects, combining cinematic language, stylized visual aesthetics, and contemporary storytelling.
📖Film Synopsis
After losing everything in one reckless night that shattered three lives, a man is forced to confront guilt, grief, and the consequences of his actions. Haunted by his darkest demons, he begins a difficult journey toward redemption through a project created to give hope to the broken and forgotten.
What once seemed like the final drop that destroyed his life becomes the turning point that forces him to decide who he truly wants to become.
