Starting the week with a recap from South Garda, Lonato.
WSK Round 3 – South Garda Karting, Lonato 🇮🇹
• Qualifying: P40
• Manche 1: P11
• Manche 2: P13
• Manche 3: P8
• Prefinal: P8 — Best lap: 52.071
• Final: P16
This weekend presented significant challenges, marked by extremely low temperatures and continuous rain. Competing in constant wet conditions—especially with limited prior training in the rain—was demanding, yet every session offered valuable experience.
Qualifying on Friday placed me P40 out of 44 drivers, making it clear that each heat would require maximum focus and determination.
In Manche 1, starting from P20, I gained nine positions to finish P11.
In Manche 2, I crossed the line in P8, but a 3-second penalty classified me P13.
Manche 3 was one of the strongest runs of the weekend, advancing twelve positions to finish
A strong Prefinal resulted in another P8, during which I also set my best lap of the day with a 52.071.
The Final proved more difficult, and I concluded the race in P16, maintaining the position from the start.
“Every race is an opportunity to grow—progress is built one lap at a time.”
I now shift focus to this coming weekend, where I will return to Lonato to compete in the Trofeo delle Industrie.
My sincere thanks go to my family for their continuous support 💚to my mechanic Massimiliano Santonocito and to Mirco Alvano for their dedication, and to the entire Tony Kart team for their commitment throughout the weekend.
Thank you to my leading sponsor MACS Italia - StartUp innovativa per l’efficienza energetica e ambientale for their ongoing support.
