The Malta Tourism Authority has launched new scheme to support students who are coming to Malta to learn English.
Main requirement to benefit from the scheme is the duration of their stay, a of minimum of 15 nights capped at a maximum of 30 nights between 1st June 2021 and 31st December 2021.
Other important points:
• First come first served basis – as there is a budget limit for the scheme, students need to act fast to benefit
• The support of €10 worth of vouchers per day will be given subject to a minimum stay of 15 nights capped at 30 nights
• The support value will be redeemable from all the participating outlets in Malta & Gozo (retail and services, restaurants) accepting local government vouchers
How does it work:
The Language School will submit application on behalf of the student which will include:
1. Copy of Airline Booking showing dates of arrival and departure.
2. Course detail and duration
3. Contact details of individual students including Name and Surname, Passport/ID number, Telephone/Mobile Number, Email Address together with a duly signed consent form authorising MTA to receive, store and use details solely for the purpose of the scheme in question.
MTA will process the applications received and once approved vouchers will be sent directly to the individual language student through the language school.
Terms & Conditions:
• Can I exchange the voucher for money? - No, vouchers cannot be exchanged for money.
• Can I use half of the voucher now and use the other half another time? - No, each voucher of €10.00 needs to be redeemed at one go. The voucher needs to be redeemed against receipts of goods and services from all participating outlets in Malta & Gozo accepting local Government vouchers.
