🇲🇹 Raġel ta’ 45 sena ġie arrestat wara li investigazzjonijiet tal-pulizija wasslu għas-sejba ta’ 76KGs ta’ droga suspettata kokaina, b’valur fit-triq ta’ madwar id-€9 miljun.

L-operazzjoni bdeit fil-Port tal-Imġarr, Għawdex. Ir-raġel twaqqaf hekk kif niżel minn fuq il-vapur u wara tfittxija, instabu l-ewwel 18-il kilogramma fil-vettura tiegħu. Aktar tfittxijiet fir-residenza fejn jgħix fix-Xagħra wasslu għas-sejba ta’ 58KGs mill-istess sustanza, kif ukoll diversi pjanċi tar-reġistrazzjoni u logbooks.

Il-Maġistrat tal-Għassa ħatret Inkjesta filwaqt li r-raġel mistenni jitressaq il-Qorti t’Għawdex aktar t**d illum.

🇬🇧 A 45-year-old man has been arrested after police investigations led to the discovery of 76KGs of suspected co***ne, with a street value of around €9 million.

The bust began at Mġarr Harbour, Gozo. The man was stopped soon after he disembarked off the ferry and after a search, the first 18KGs were discovered in his vehicle. Further searches in his Xagħra residence uncovered 58KGs of the same substance as well as several license plates and logbooks.

Duty Magistrate appointed an Inquiry, whilst the man is expected to be arraigned in Gozo Court later today.
