CASTING CALL - Audition for Malta Libraries' New Christmas Theatre Production
Xmun ix-Xħiħ
A fresh Maltese adaptation inspired by A Christmas Carol
Malta Libraries is looking for enthusiastic performers to join the cast of Xmun ix-Xħiħ, a brand-new Christmas theatre production.
Whether you're an experienced actor or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to develop your acting skills, meet new people and perform before a live audience this Christmas.

Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to children, teenagers and adults aged 8–65 who:
• Are fluent in spoken Maltese (the production will be performed entirely in Maltese)
• Are enthusiastic, reliable and committed
• Can attend the scheduled workshops, rehearsals and performances
No previous acting experience is required.
Please note that participation is voluntary and no remuneration will be provided.

Casting Auditions
15 & 16 July 2026
From 10:00 onwards
Auditions will consist of a guided read-through. You will be given selected scenes on the day, so no preparation or memorisation is required.
