Corinthia Celebrates Long-Serving Employees at Reunion Lunch

Radisson Golden Sands was the venue for a reunion for former employees who have each dedicated over 20 years of service in the various entities of Corintha Group, celebrating their invaluable contributions and long-standing commitment.

The reunion provided an opportunity for the 75 attendees to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate their collective experiences.

At a lunch hosted by CPHCL Group, Mr Joe Pisani expressed his deep appreciation for the loyalty, dedication, and professionalism demonstrated by the attendees throughout their careers. Mr Victor Pisani was also present.

The gathering was marked by a warm and convivial atmosphere, with guests reliving shared experiences during their years of service.

Greening Floriana

Work has started on a major project to restore part of the Floriana fortifications and to upgrade the landscaping area.

The fortifications form part of Valletta’s outer defences and were designed in 1636 by the military engineer Pietro Paolo Floriani, after whom they are named. They have since undergone many modifications and are now in a dilapidated state.

The site also includes several World War II Nissen huts, which are protected buildings, being meticulously restored to accommodate a new function that supports the Malta National Botanic Gardens project led by Ambjent Malta, including a butterfly reception room and glasshouses for the cultivation of butterfly feed and botanic garden.

The overall development is being led by Project Green, and CPHCL Group is proud to be part of this project alongside Attard Bros Group.

The fortifications overlook a distinctive green site of around 57,000 square metres in the heart of a heavily urbanised area, with considerable potential. Palace Landscaping & Palace Garden Centre Limited, a subsidiary of CPHCL Group is involved in the clearing, pruning and upgrading of the soft landscaped area, including the planting of new trees.
