In the mid-2000s, my dad was trying his hand at his own business, so he worked with local FMCG manufacturers to bring Filipino goods to countries you wouldn't immediately expect.

Mongolia was one of those countries, with Piattos becoming a hit here two decades ago and continuing to be popular that you can still find them in supermarkets and convenience stores today!

My dad's business savvy in taking a path most won't even dare explore is something that's guided my own career, and something my entire family is grateful for. Hell, these Piattos in Mongolia—along with many other Filipino products he's helped export to the Pacific Islands—helped put me through school and live the life I enjoy.

I'm really proud of my dad, and I acknowledge him. ☝🏽

Just came off a courtesy call at the NXT General Manager's office...
