Vocabulary tip 21: Guarantee or Warranty?

ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ အေနန႔ဲ ဒီစကားလံုးႏွစ္မ်ိဳးလံုးန႔ဲ ရင္းႏွီးၿပီးသားျဖစ္မွာပါ ဒါေပမ့ဲ တူသလိုလိုန႔ဲ ဒီစကားလံုးႏွစ္လံုးမွာ မတူတ့ဲအခ်က္ေလးေတြကို အတူတူေလ့လာၾကည့္ရေအာင္

Guarantee(noun): promise
Warranty(noun): written warranty

Guarantee is usually presented in percentage. (eg: 100% guarantee)
Warranty is usually presented with time duration. (eg: 2-years warranty). It is usually written and signed on legal documentations.

1. I can guarantee his quality of work.
သူ႔လုပ္ရည္ကိုင္ရည္ကို ကၽြန္ေတာ္အာမခံႏိုင္ပါတယ္

2. It is free of charge during warranty period.
အာမခံကာလအတြင္း အခမ့ဲပါ

3. The comapny guarantees that they use local materials.
ကုမၸဏီက ျပည္တြင္းကုန္ၾကမ္းေတြသာသံုးတယ္လို႔ ကတိျပဳတယ္
