Are you able to feel what I feel? The moment my babies are born, humans come and take them away from me, as if my love does not matter. I am their mother, and just like any mother, my babies need me, my warmth, my care. But to them, my children are not seen as babies who need their mother—they are just pigs, not puppies or pets, so my pain is ignored. I cry, I shout, I beg for them to give my babies back, but no one listens. They take them away only because someone wants to eat them, as if their lives mean nothing. But to me, they are not food—they are my little children, my heart. I don’t even get a chance to say goodbye, because I am kept trapped in this cage, helpless and broken, while my babies are taken far away from me.
