We are delighted to share that our short film A Gentle Breeze (အတိုးဆုံးလေညှင်း) will have its world premiere at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen in the International Competition section (28 April - 3 May, 2026).

Our journey with this film began in 2022, when we first collaborated with writer and director Lin Htet Aung on developing the script. It was filmed in 2023 in the historic city of Bagan with a local cast of non-professional actors.

This film would not have been possible without the generosity, hospitality, and support of the people of Bagan, who shared everything with us — from locations and meals to their presence on screen as part of the cast.

This is an incredibly personal and memorable film for Lin, and we are grateful to have helped bring it to life. A Gentle Breeze is a quiet, intimate work that lingers in small gestures and everyday moments, shaped by a deep sense of place, memory, and home.

We look forward to sharing it with audiences at Oberhausen. 🙏❤️

ဒီနှစ် ကျနော်တို့ တန်ခူးရုပ်ရှင်ကနေ The Act of Kissing ဆိုတဲ့ ဇာတ်လမ်းတိုလေးကို "Ten Years Myanmar" စုပေါင်းရုပ်ရှင် (omnibus film) မှာ တခြားမြန်မာအင်ဒီရုပ်ရှင်ဖန်တီးသူတွေနဲ့အတူ ပူပေါင်းရိုက်ကူးဖြစ်ခဲ့တယ်။ ဒီကားကို ပွဲဦးထွက်အနေနဲ့ Busan International Film Festival ရဲ့ A Window On Asian Cinema Program မှာ ပြသဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

ခုလာမယ့် ဒီဇင်ဘာလမှာတော့ Ten Years Myanmar ကို Singapore International Film Festival ရဲ့ Standpoint program မှာ ပြသသွားမယ်ဆိုတဲဲ့အ​ကြောင်းလေး ဝမ်းသာစွာပြောပြချင်ပါတယ်။

The Act of Kissing ဇာတ်လမ်းတိုရိုက်ကူးရာမှာ ပါဝင်ကူညီပေးခဲ့တဲ့ တစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီတိုင်းကို ကျေးဇူးအများကြီးတင်ပါတယ်။

This year, we have produced a short film called The Act of Kissing as part of "Ten Years Myanmar" omnibus film together with other independent filmmakers from Myanmar. Modeled after Hong Kong's "Ten Years" (2015), this film envisions Myanmar's future a decade from now.

Earlier this month, it premiered at Busan International Film Festival. And we are incredibly proud that it is now heading to Singapore International Film Festival for its South East Asian premiere.

It was such a delight to work on this film and we would like to thank the whole The Act of Kissing and Ten Years Myanmar team for their dedication to creating such a memorable film.
