A case of young lady presenting severe scissor-bite occlusion with spacing of upper and lower anterior teeth.

This case is treated with “LH orthodontics” developed by Orthodontic department of Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU).

LH or Low Hysteresis also known as Improved Superelastic NIti alloy Wire (ISW) provides more physiological tooth movement. With combination of heat bender (Soarer XR), selective hardening to LH wire on exact areas to provide adequate force for tooth movement.

With the used of TADs, bite turbos and intermaxillary elastics, this case was achieved with acceptable results.
