Holly and Gerry were soulmates. No one could imagine them without each other. Until something unthinkable happens- Gerry's death. Holly was devasted. But Gerry left a bundle of notes for Holly to read before he died, each signed with 'PS, I Love You' at the end. As the notes are gradually opened and as years unfold, Holly both cheered up and challenged.

This is the story of how Holly tried her best to cope with Gerry's death.

It's sad but not soul-crushing-ugly-sobbing sad. Perfect for people who wants a little sadness in their life but not too much. But can't really satisfy people like me who want to get completely destroyed.

The book shows how Holly is trying to stay happy and positive and continue to live her life, with her supportive friends and family by her side. How she finally let go of her grief.

Good for her.
But not for me who want to see the characters miserable and depressing.😐

I know, I know, I'm an emotional masochist.🙄
But what kind of bookworm doesn't love sobbing while reading heart breaking stories, m'right?🙂

All in all, it was an enjoyable read. You can clearly see how the characters are thinking and feeling, the details, the simple and concise writing. Makes you empathize with Holly and feel sorry for her.
