ကျနော်ကျောင်းတုန်းက steel structure ဘာသာရပ်မှာ တိုင်ပတ်ခဲ့ရတာတစ်ခုရှိပါတယ်။ အပြင်လက်တွေ့နဲ့ မနီးစပ်ခဲ့တာကြောင့်လည်းပါ ပါမယ်။

ကျနော်တို့ ကျောင်းတွေမှာ သင်တဲ့ စာအုပ်တွေက American codes and standards တွေကို reference ယူထားတာများပါတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီမှာပါတဲ့ steel section တွေက W shape, S shape, C shape, etc... စတာတွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

W shape ဆိုတာကို ကျနော်က W ပုံသဏ္ဌာန် member လို့ထင်ခဲ့တယ်။ S shape ဆိုတာကို S ပုံသဏ္ဌာန် စသဖြင့်ပေါ့။ (သူများတွေတော့ ဘယ်လိုထင်သလဲမသိ)။ ဒါပေမယ့် အဲ့ဒီလို W ပုံသဏ္ဌန်တို့ S ပုံသဏ္ဌန်တို့ကို ကျနော် တစ်ခါမှ မမြင်ဖူးဘူး။

အဲ့ဒီ W shape ကိုမြင်အောင် ကြိုးစားပြီးပုံ‌ဖော်ရတာကိုက အလုပ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်နေခဲ့တယ်။ ဆရာမက ရှေ့မှာ ပုစ္ဆာ ရှင်းပြတယ်။ ကျနော်က W shape လေးကို မြင်အောင် ပုံဖော်ရင်းနဲ့ ပုစ္ဆာသာ တစ်ပုဒ်ပြီး တစ်ပုဒ် ပြီးသွားတယ်။ ကျနော်က W shape ကို မမြင်ဘူး။ W shape ဆိုတာတောင် ဟုတ်သလိုလိုရှိတယ်။ S shape ဆိုရင် ပိုဆိုးတာပေါ့။ ဒီလိုနဲ့ စာတွေလည်း လိုက်မမီခဲ့ဘူး။ ကိုယ်ညံ့ခဲ့အကြောင်းကို ပြောပြတာပါ။

ကျောင်းပြီးမှ ပြန်လေ့လာရင်းနဲ့...
Hot rolled steel နဲ့ Cold formed steel ဆိုပြီးတော့ steel members အုပ်စုနှစ်မျိုးရှိတယ်တဲ့‌‌လေ။ Hot rolled steel sections တွေက သံထည်ကို အရည်ဖြစ်အောင်အပူပေး၊ ပုံစံသွင်းတဲ့ စက်တွေ အဆင့်ဆင့်ကို ဖြတ်ပြီးတော့ လိုချင်တဲ့ပုံစံရအောင် ထုတ်လုပ်တဲ့ sections တွေဖြစ်တယ်။
Cold formed steel sections တွေကတော့ သံပြားအပါးတွေကို လိုချင်တဲ့ ပုံစံရအောင် အပူမပေးဘဲ ထုတ်လုပ်ထားတဲ့ sections တွေဖြစ်တယ် ဆိုတာကို သိလာရတယ်။ ဒါကတော့ ထုတ်လုပ်တဲ့ပုံစံအကြမ်းဖြင့်ပါ။

ကျနော်တို့ စိတ်ဝင်စားတဲ့ W shape, S shape, C shape, L shape တို့ဆိုတာက hot rolled steel section အမျိုးအစားတွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ASTM designation အရ efficient ဖြစ်အောင် အချိုးအစားနဲ့ စနစ်တကျ ထုတ်လုပ်ထားတဲ့ sections တွေပါ။

W shape...

W shape ဆိုတာက wide fl**ge shape ကို ဆိုလိုတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်တဲ့။ ကျနော်ကတော့ အင်္ဂလိပ်အက္ခရာ W နဲ့တူတယ်လို့ ထင်နေခဲ့တာ။ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ( how dumb I was)
အင်္ဂလိပ် အက္ခရာ I, H တို့နဲ့ ပုံစံတူပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့်လည်း I beam, H beam လို့ အလွယ်ခေါ်ကြတာဖြစ်တယ်။ Fl**ge width အတိုင်းအတာပေါ်မူတယ်ပြီးတော့ ပုံစံက ပြောင်းသွားတယ်။
ဉပမာ- W12x58 က H ပုံနဲ့ ပိုတူပြီးတော့ W12x22 က I ပုံစံနဲ့ ပိုနီးစပ်တယ်။ (ပုံ- ၁)
(H) ပဲ‌ ခေါ်ခေါ်၊ ( I ) ပဲခေါ်ခေါ် နှစ်ခုလုံးက W shapes တွေပါ။

S shape/ I-beam...

S shape ဆိုတာက American standard beam ကို ခေါ်ဆိုခြင်းဖြစ်တယ်။ wide fl**ge မဟုတ်ဘူး။ S shape က I နဲ့ ပိုတူတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် သူ့ကို I-beam လို့လည်းခေါ်ကြပါတယ်။ W shape နဲ့ မတူတာက fl**ge အတွင်းဘက်တွေမှာ slope တွေ ဖြစ်နေတယ်။ beam depth က fl**ge width ရဲ့ ၃ ဆ သို့မဟုတ် ၃ဆ နီးပါး ရှိနေတတ်တယ်။ ဉပမာ S24x100 မှာ ဆိုလို့ရှိရင် beam depth = 24" ဖြစ်ပြီးတော့ fl**ge width = 7.25" ပါ။ weight ကတော့ 100 lb/ft ပေါ့။ (ပုံ - ၂)

HP - shape...

HP shape တွေကတော့ H နဲ့ပိုတူတယ်။ depth နဲ့ fl**ge width က အကျယ် အတူတူလောက်ပဲ ရှိတယ်။ thickness လည်း အတူတူပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီ shape တွေကတော့ bearing piles တွေအတွက် အသုံးများတဲ့ shape တွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ (ပုံ-၃ )

အပေါ်က shape တွေက ASTM standard shape တွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကို ဝင်တဲ့ shape တွေ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။

Steel Members in our country...

ကျနော်တို့ နိုင်ငံမှာ အသုံးအများဆုံး members တွေကတော့ နီးစပ်ရာ နိုင်ငံတွေက ဝင်လာတဲ့ members တွေပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Chinese standard ဖြစ်တဲ့ GB standard တွေ၊ Japanese standard ဖြစ်တဲ့ JIS standards တွေ စတာတွေ ရှိပါမယ်။
GB standard မှာတော့ HW, HM, HN နဲ့ ပြပါတယ်။ HW က H shape နဲ့ တူပြီးတော့ HN က I shape နဲ့ တူပါတယ်။

HW 200X200x8x12 ဆိုတာက

Designation...

ASTM standard မှာရော GB standard မှာရော တခြား standards တွေမှာရော၊ fl**ge thickness နဲ့ web thickness မတူတာကို တွေ့ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။အကြောင်းကတော့ ဒီလိုပါ။
I shape , H shape, C shape စတဲ့ members တွေကို fl**ge plate နှစ်ခု၊ web plate တစ်ခု နဲ့ ဖွဲ့စည်းထားပါတယ်။
web plate ရဲ့ top & bottom အနား နှစ်ဘက်ကို fl**ge plate နဲ့ ထိန်းထားပေးပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် web ကို stiffen plate လို့ခေါ်ပါတယ်။ fl**ge ရဲ့ အနားတွေကတော့ ထိန်းထားပေးခြင်း မရှိဘဲ unstiffen plates ဖြစ်နေပါတယ်။
အလွယ်ပြောရရင် stiffen plate ဖြစ်တဲ့ web က stiffness ပိုကောင်းတယ်၊ ပိုတောင့်တယ်၊ ဒါကြောင့် thickness နည်းနည်းနဲ့ ရတယ်။ တခြားတစ်ဖက်မှာလည်း bending stress တွေဆိုတာက neutral axis နဲ့ ဝေးတဲ့ top & bottom fl**ge တွေမှာ ပိုများတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့်လည်း fl**ge thickness တွေထူထားပေးရတာလည်း ဖြစ်မယ်။ unstiffen plate ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့်လည်း web ထက် ပိုထူထားတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပြောချင်တာကတော့ W shape ဆိုတာ W ပုံသဏ္ဌာန်၊ S shape ဆိုတာ S ပုံသဏ္ဌာန် လို့ ထင်ခဲ့မိတယ် ဆိုတဲ့ အကြောင်းကို ပြောပြတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
