Myanmar Management Training

In April Counselling Corner launched the first reflection journal in Myanmar language and hundreds of people have started using it.
Counsellors Hsu Lei Nanda and May Phyo Thu have put it together and continue to give workshops on the benefits of writing down your daily or weekly thoughts, worries and emotions.
It’s a 299 pages book divided over 52 weeks to help you write down your feelings, your achievements, what you have been grateful for and consider what you are planning to do in the next week and the next months. An excellent tool to keep your own mental well-being in balance and helps you to reflect on past weeks and look forward. The journal also includes tips in Myanmar on how to stay mentally strong and how to support others.
The reflection journal is available for just 35.000 Kyats at Counselling Corner bookshop, pass by in person at our centre or order by phone, email, Facebook messenger or Viber / WhatsApp.
Companies have been ordering it for their staff and use it to help staff regulate their anxiety, stress and other strong emotions.

Emotional Regulation Club for Children
In abnormal times it’s normal for adults as well as children to have high stress and a wide variety of emotions. During this fun 4 weeks club, your child learns how to self-regulate emotions through story telling. During each tuition (3 hours) your child will learn through play therapy to handle their own emotions.
Counselling Corner own counsellors have been trained by renowned US child psychologist Tim Friesen from the Jacaranda program to give the tuition to a group of maximum 10 children. The program is supervised by our most experienced counsellors and the course runs over 4 weeks, with two counsellors guiding the children through emotional and social skill-building activities. This setting will benefit any child by providing consistent support and engagement.
