2026 kicked off with more endings than beginnings. The first two images are family photos from my final Sunday at (at least for a while)

I’ve hinted at it online but it is official : I am on sabbatical until June and I will be doing my DTS with Circuit Riders.

It all started with the last two photos (where I am unbathed, wearing pyjamas and a random green sweater…) This was the first time I ever took a photo of myself crying. I took it to mark the moment God clearly reached beyond the divide between heaven and earth, using Isaiah 61, to invite me into ministry, a new path, a new life, a new way.

I said yes.

Without knowing what in the world it meant…and what I would need to give up.

And I still don’t, but becoming a missionary for 6months is my next step of obedience

I am flippen excited!! And terrified all at once

I cried leaving my apartment for the last time
I cried dropping my dog off for the final time
I cried saying goodbye to church family

There are still more things to grieve.
Yes, I’ll be back in a few months, but I don’t think anything will be the same again.

The rest of the images are from my two 30th birthday parties which were actually moments of commissioning. My community has been incredible in how they’ve loved, supported and sent me 🤍 I honestly cannot ask for more 🥹

I won’t be posting as much on this page for a while but will post on my missions page .the.harvest

2026 is an ending and a beginning

What a day!!!!

Women’s month never disappoints 🥹. It’s my favourite time of year when I get to gather with other women, hear and share stories and just set the world on fire with our determined joy and freedom.

I started the day with at the in Johannesburg. 7000 bright minds in one room!!!! you out did yourselves with this one. Absolute unicorn 🦄 of an event, attention to detail, excellence and FUN!

Later the same day (notice the T-shirt change lol) I joined the PHENOMENAL community that is for a poem, panel talk and book launch. That was a room full of real, vulnerable, incredibly talented women who are pioneering in each of their fields, despite the odds.

Could not have done any of it without my partner in crime 🤍

At the end of a day like today I embrace my tired and see it as a sign of time well spent
