Yallah nktbou! Our Arabic Language and Culture students had the incredible privilege of learning the timeless art of Arabic calligraphy from the very talented Mohammed Boukhana. From crafting and prepping their own bamboo pens (qalam) to mastering ink flow, everyone got hands-on with every step of the process.
..And maybe got a little too inspired by the end. 😅 Swipe to the end to check out our impromptu “tattoo” session! 🎨

A day immersed in the beauty of the Ourika Valley! 🏔️🇲🇦
Our Leadership & Service in Youth Development students explored the breathtaking Ourika Valley, nestled in the Atlas Mountains and known for its lush landscapes, fresh mountain air, and the warm hospitality of its Amazigh communities. They shared a traditional Moroccan couscous, a symbol of family, unity, and celebration, learned about the rich traditions of Moroccan mint tea and the cultural significance of sugar in welcoming guests and celebrating life’s milestones.
A day filled with culture, connection, and unforgettable experiences. ✨. Tanemmirt (ⵜⴰⵏⵎⵎⵉⵔⵜ)/Thank you
Our Arabic Language Global Navigators took a page out of Ibn Battuta’s Book (تحفة النظار في غرائب الأمصار وعجائب الأسفار) and traveled their way across civilizations at the historic Chellah ruins. Congratulations to our TikTok challenge winners for making exploration come to life! ✨🗺️

The CIEE Student Olympics were a blast!
We took “learning outside the classroom” to a whole new, chaotic, and incredibly fun level. Our students put their teamwork, speed, and language skills to the ultimate test across some unforgettable challenges, including:
Pin the Face: Navigating facial features using their newly learned Arabic vocabulary.
The Ping Pong Hustle: Absolute coordination and collaboration—keeping ping pong balls moving with spoons together as a team.
Darija Obstacle Course: Trust was put to the test! Students wore blindfolds and navigated a tricky maze using only directions in Darija (colloquial Moroccan Arabic) to practice what they learned in class.
The Great Sponge Relay: A high-speed race to fill the bucket where quickness and teamwork were everything...and so many more epic games that kept the energy at an all-time high! 💥
👉 Swipe to the very end to see the creative geniuses who won our TikTok challenge and the amazing prizes they took home! 🏆🎁
