Dreaming of Morocco but can't travel due to lockdown! Bring the taste of Marrakesh to your own kitchen with this super easy tangia recipe 😋
-Leg of lamb cut into chunks
-5-6 onions quartered
-1 full bulb of garlic, peeled
-2 tbsp ground coriander
-2 tbsp cumin
-1 tsp ginger
-1-2 preserved lemons, or 2 tbsp lemon juice
-salt and pepper to taste
-half cup olive oil
-half cup water
Put all ingredients into a pressure cooker, mix and cook over a medium heat for 1 and 1/2 hours.
If you do not have a pressure cooker use a regular pot and double the cooking time.
The tangia is ready when the meat falls off the bone. Enjoy!
