A period should never be the reason a girl misses school, falls behind, or has her future narrowed. 🩸📚

But for many girls, period poverty is still a barrier to education. Without access to products, accurate information, safe and clean facilities, and supportive environments, menstruation can contribute to missed classes, school dropout, child marriage and early motherhood.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we are calling attention to as an education issue, a health issue, and a rights issue. ✊🏼

Meet our Bigger Écoles mentors, Kaoutar and Abdessamad 🏫⭐

Today, we are proud to introduce two more committed mentors supporting the Bigger Écoles initiative.

Through school dialogues with students and advocacy events with parents, Kaoutar and Abdesammad are helping open important conversations around girls’ education and the prevention of child marriage.
