First Green, Rehabilitation Center in Al Haouz, Marrakech will be running on 2 MW of Solar System

Centre Internationale de Convalescence situated in Al Haouz, Marrakech, being the first of its kind in Morocco the main objective of treatment is achievement of medical, preventive and rehabilitation effect of patients who are recovering.

The fundamental principle of our work is caring for the person. So, the best result of our work. Our goals are to provide the best care to patients who are recovering after surgery, to work for the benefit of all our patients and to satisfy their wishes. As this is the creation of a renowned physician who is a specialist in the field of health care services for over two decades and who understood early that is a lack of after care service in Morocco and as such, he started the project. The project started construction in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023. Presently, the site is nearing completion of the construction phase, and moving to decoration phase. The Solar system phase one is completely installed and will be operational in October 2022.

As part of our corporate responsibility, we ensure that the environment is protected and that the center is in is in harmony with our objectives.

Working with GSHK Solar, a leader in the solar industry, to equip our clinic with the next generation of photovoltaics. The clinic will be equipped with the new 375 watts pure black panels. These panels are comprised of N Type cells, dual glass and 23% efficiency.

As the first phase of the installation will cover over 40 percent of our daily needs and provide over 1.75 MW of electricity on a weekly basis and reduce carbon emissions by 71000 KG per annum and create the green energy for less than 0.30 MAD per KW which is more than 70% saving from the local electrical company. As part of our responsibility to the environment we want to ensure that we are part of the green movement.

Marrakech Goes Green with GSHK Holding is further enhanced by the commencement of a second solar system with our continued cooperation with Sky Health a world leader in manufacturing of medical goods. Sky Health is part of the family of Siti Group led by Mr. Amine El Baroudi in Marrakech.
Sky Health today announced its continuation of corporate responsibility towards the environment by further increasing its second installation of solar station in its state-of-the-art manufacturing in Marrakech. Sky Health which manufacturers high quality fully certified medical products will convert 30% of its energy consumption towards solar power. This will enable it to further contribute in the decarbonization objectives of Morocco. Installed on the roof top of the factory, the solar station operates some 900 GSHK’s photovoltaic panels, producing over 2.4 MWh of electricity per day, and eliminates the emission of more than 421K kilograms of CO2 every year and a savings of over 11 million MAD over the life of the solar system. The solar station in Marrakech is part of the strategy set by the Siti Group, consisting of halving Siti’s CO2 emissions by 2025 and achieving a zero-emission target net by 2030.
Sky Health is the second solar station for Siti Group, after the plan of Siti Group is to equip its other factories of the within Morocco in 2022 / 2023. The Sky Health solar station was built in collaboration with GSHK Holding, a leader in renewable energies. The Sky Health solar station will be completed within the summer of 2022
