Time rests in his eyes — not just in years, but in the wisdom of the humble, the pride of the nomad, and the calm of the knowing.
When I sat before him, I didn’t just see features — I heard the wind coursing through his veins, and smelled the earth in his silence.
On his chest lay no weapon or adornment, but an old Amchegheb — a wooden piece from the *RAHLA that once carried women on camelback. He held it close to his heart, as if to say: here resides woman, here lives heritage.
I chose this angle not to show strength, but to eternalize depth. I drew him as one draws a homeland… unshakable.
The browns and greys around him weren’t an artistic choice — they were part of his essence: the color of soil, of wisdom, of stories that never fade.
