Humans Of Akka

Je m'appelle Ahmed Elghazi., actuellement je suis censeur du Lycée Elmansour Eddahbi depuis l'année 2011. Ex-professeur de français au collège d'Akka entre 1994 et 1999 puis au même Lycée entre 2000 et 2006. J'occupais le poste de surveillant général d'externat entre l'année 2006 et 2010 (Almansour Eddahbi toujours). Je mentionne que j'ai fait mes études primaires à Akka, ma ville natale, en suite j'ai poursuvi mes études au collège et au lycée à Tata, enfin mes études universitaires à Agadir.

My name is Ahmed Elghazi currently I am the headmaster in Elmansour Eddahbi high school since 2011. Im a former French teacher at Akka middle school between 1994 and 1999 and from 2000 to 2006 in Elmansour Eddahbi high school. Where i worked too as General supervisor (principal) from 2000 to 2006.
I should mention that my primary studies were in Akka my native hometown but i went to Tata for middle and high school and finally i went to Agadir for my university studies.

When I was seven years old, my father decided that I should start going to school with the other kids from our Dowar. In the beginning, it was hard for me to adjust to this new environment. The large classroom sizes were overwhelming. In these moments, I tried to remember all that my father had provided me so that I could be literate. One day, a man told my father that I was unfit to be in school because I was stupid and a sociopath like my father. My dad got upset and smacked the man. He told him, “We’ll see whose son isn’t fit to be a student”. I learned to cope with these accusations, in part because of my dad’s reaction that day. Ironically, the man’s son dropped out from school a few years later. Meanwhile, I am still pursuing my studies at Elmansour Eddahbi High School in the second-year Bac Arts option with the intent of obtaining my Bac degree this year.

The man has since apologized to my father for his behavior that day.

في السابعة من عمري و كأي طفل في "الدوار" قرر والدي أنه حان الوقت لأن أكون تلميذا في المدرسة.
في البداية عَسُرَ علي تقبل الأمر لأنه كان من الصعب علي التأقلم في وسط جديد، وداخل مجموعة كبيرة من الناس رغم أن والدي وفر لي كل ما باستطاعته لكي اتمدرس. في أحد الأيام قال أحدهم لوالدي أني غبي لن أنجح في دراستي لكوني شخصا انطوائيا على نفسه فغضب والدي وصفعه قائلا : "سنرى .. الأيام بيننا ثم انصرف".
ومع مرور الوقت بدأت أتأقلم مع الوسط و داخل الجماعة بفضل ردة فعل والدي و بعد سنين انقطع ابن ذلك الرجل عن الدراسة لعدم قدرته على الاستمرار، بينما ها أنا هنا أتابع دراستي بالسنة الثانية باكالوريا و كل شوق لأتم هذ السنة بنجاح.
وعاد الرجل بعد ذلك الى والدي معتذرا على سلوكه.
