The International Transport Development Association (ITDA) was pleased to participate in the Fishermen’s Festival (Zvejnieksvētki) event organized by the Latvian Maritime Union (Latvijas Jūrniecības savienība) on July 12 aboard the ship Vecrīga. The gathering was held in celebration of Latvia’s maritime heritage and served as a wonderful opportunity to promote the importance of the maritime sector, foster collaboration, and enjoy a meaningful exchange in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Latvian Maritime Union and especially to Roberts Gailītis for organizing this beautiful and meaningful tradition.

It was a great pleasure to spend time with the esteemed Gaidis Andrejs Zeibots, as well as to connect with Līva Goba, whose contributions to the maritime community are both valuable and inspiring.
