I got to perform for Lovable, the fastest growing software startup of all time, and it might be the wildest coincidence of my independent artist career.

I received an email, which I found so surprising that I honestly thought it might be scam. It wasn't.

Turns out they knew I have a song called Lovable, and they loved it so much they flew me to Helsinki to sing it at their one year birthday party and celebrate with them. And if you think that’s crazy, wait till you hear the rest.

To be completely honest, I didn’t even know about this company (sometimes artists and songwriters live in a world of their own, you know) until all this happened. Not in a million years could I have imagined this. I couldn’t have planned it if I tried.

This whole experience reminded me that when you do what you love, and you keep doing it, and doing it, and doing it (10 years of being an independent artist this month!), something good eventually finds its way to you.
