Visiting the Getliņi EKO greenhouses, where tomatoes, cucumbers and ornamental plants are grown all year round.

Currently, the total area of the greenhouses is 14,408 m², they are 5.5 m high. Greenhouse plants occupy 13,000 m² and 33,900 seedlings are planted in them. The harvest season begins in mid-August and lasts until July.

“Smart greenhouses” have been created at the “Getliņi” landfill - many processes are monitored and provided by technologies, such as climate control, plant watering and mineral nutrition. The course of the processes is carried out taking into account the meteorological station installed in the greenhouse.

Ciemos Getliņi EKO siltumnīcās, kur cauru gadu tiek audzēti tomāti, gurķi un skaistumaugi.

Šobrīd siltumnīcu kopējā platība ir 14 408 m², tās ir 5,5 m augstas. Siltumnīcu augi aizņem 13 000 m² un tajās ir iestādīti 33 900 stādu. Ražas sezonā sākas augusta vidū un ilgst līdz jūlijam.

Poligonā “Getliņi” ir izveidotas “gudrās siltumnīcas” – daudzus procesus uzrauga un nodrošina tehnoloģijas, piemēram, klimata kontroli, augu laistīšanu un minerālo barošanu. Procesu norise tiek īstenota, ņemot vērā siltumnīcā uzstādīto meteoroloģisko staciju.
