This weekend, that’s exactly what I did. We spent two beautiful days around Lake Garda with my mom, dad, and sister - visiting little towns, cruising around the lake by boat, enjoying long lunches and dinners, and making new memories.

Nothing fancy. Just the simple joy of being together.

And I’d highly recommend it. Because years from now, these are the moments you’ll remember, the moments you’ll wish you could relive, and the moments that remind you what truly matters.

Asparagus season is here, and this might be the easiest dish you’ll make all week.

Place your asparagus on a tray, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast at 180°C for about 15 minutes (or cook in a pan for about 5 minutes).

Meanwhile, spread a burrata across your serving plate. Once the asparagus is cooked, place it on top and finish with the ingredient that does all the magic: ČiliMafija | Traškus čili aliejus | Pagardai chili oil with heaps of roasted garlic. I’ve probably mentioned this badass chili oil a hundred times over the last two years, but for good reason. Spoon a generous amount over the asparagus, then add fresh coriander, dill, lemon zest, and a pinch of Maldon salt.

Creamy, spicy, fresh, and packed with flavour for barely any effort..
Extra Bonus points if you serve it with a piece of warm crunchy bread and a glass of something cold.
