For this International Design Day, we’re celebrating our colleagues in a way every Lithuanian will recognize (don’t worry, our English-speaking friends - we’ve got you covered with subtitles).

Growing up - or even now, when visiting grandparents - Saturday afternoons meant one thing: Sveikinimų koncertas(once known as Sveikinimų ratas) on TV. Poems, music, dedications - and that unmistakable feeling: today, someone is being celebrated.

This time, it’s all of you.

Our greetings go beyond Lithuania - to everyone we’ve met and worked with along the way. We’ve prepared a small tribute: an original poem by yours truly, and a musical gift from Stepas Januška performing “Song for Friends.”

To everyone whose daily bread is design - this one’s for you 💐

Ever wondered what the world of andstudio looked like? Take a peek inside - the year was 2025.

It was a year of high-volume culture - shaping the sound of M1, the stories of Kino Pavasaris / Vilnius Film Festival, and the global reach of the Lietuvos kultūros institutas / Lithuanian Culture Institute.

We focused on the "everyday" - elevating daily rituals with Daily Spoon, making banking approachable with Artea, and playing more than just padel at Mostai.club.

We also looked ahead. We partnered with Sengirė / The Ancient Woods to return ancient forests to nature and worked with Altra toward a cleaner future. And, as Kilo - your co-founding partner proved, we learned that jumping from 0 to 1000 is always within the realm of possibility.

Our journey took us from home base in Lithuania to the design stages in Australia and the creative shores of the Ad Black Sea - International Festival of Creativity. We shared what we know in Lietuvos Marketingo Asociacija (LiMA), NAPA, our own Creativity Scouting, and kept gathering stars for the projects we believe in.

To those who followed, trusted, and pushed us: thank you. The tank is full for 2026 - jump in and see how it unfolds.

We created a brand designed to work until the year 2100. When the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant was shut down, it wasn’t the end of Lithuania’s nuclear story. The closure, once part of Lithuania’s EU accession agreement, marked the end of one energy cycle and the beginning of another. Today, Lithuania is managing that legacy and leading one of the region’s largest environmental projects – transforming the remains of Ignalina so future generations won’t bear its burden. This new phase needed a new name and a new strategy. Introducing Altra – a brand that symbolizes the next cycle in Lithuania’s energy story, where technology meets environmental renewal. Its name points toward the future of better alternatives, with LT at its center, grounding the project in Lithuania’s long-term commitment to responsible transformation. The logo references Ignalina’s iconic form, reimagined to remain timeless – today and in 2100. We’re proud to have helped shape the identity of a project designed to carry Lithuania’s energy story into the next century. Thanks to the Altra team, Synthesis CG– for the trust and the work we’ll be proud of for years to come.
