🚶 As the seasonal depression slowly leaves our bodies and embrace the sunshine with open arms, we strut our stuff in the 4th edition of the 'Walkerato' walking challenge! Here are the results after the month-long challenge 👇

💪 We covered 7 668 373 steps, a distance of 5,478 kilometers together. This is almost the air distance between New York and London.

⛽And get this, driving that distance would require a whopping 357.5 liters of petrol. That's enough to power a small village or fill up a clown car. 💶And let's not forget the price tag—approximately 560 Euros.

🌱 Now, brace yourselves for the environmental side of things. By walking we planted 27388 virtual trees. This would be approx 17% of the area in "Vingio parkas" in Vilnius. And on 🔝 of that, we donate to One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. Since 2014, they've planted over 135.5 million trees with 378 partners across 82 countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific.

Meet Kristina Zoberniene : a former lawyer turned IT enthusiast at Iterato. Though she aimed for front-end development, her knack for details lead her to excel as a quality assurance specialist: “Learning front-end web development showed me, that I am better as a QA, as little details keep nagging me and I have to fix them”. 🐞

At Iterato, Kristina feels valued and included, contributing her expertise to an intriguing project that captures her curiosity. 🌱 The growth opportunities are plentiful, offering Kristina the chance to continuously expand her skill set and thrive in her new role. 🤗 She feels a sense of belonging since the company’s bi-weekly Friday lunch calls provide her with information about company and team achievements.

📚 Outside of her professional pursuits, Kristina is an avid reader and audiobook enthusiast, cherishing the quiet moments after work as she indulges in her "meditation state" of literary exploration. 🧳 She enjoys traveling and dreams of an extended stay in Tenerife, which is fueled by “work outside Lithuania” benefit from the company. For that, she is set on learning Spanish – a passion since her teenage years.
