We’re heading to Sheffield DocFest, UK 🇬🇧to present our new documentary project UNDER THE HEAVENS selected for the MeetMarket 2025 – one of the world’s leading documentary markets.

“Under the Heavens” is among 50 selected titles representing 46 countries, and we’re honoured to be part of this year’s international lineup.

Looking forward to connecting with industry professionals, and potential collaborators in Sheffield.

We’re beyond excited to share that Double Self Portrait received the FIPADOC Award! 🏆
This prize includes an invitation to the final selection of the International Pitch at FIPADOC 2025, plus two professional accreditations for our filmmaking team. This prize supports emerging talent in bringing bold and original documentary visions to an international stage.

Special thanks to our fantastic German co-producer Alex Tondowski from Tondowski Films for being with us in Munich and for your invaluable support on both projects.

Winners were announced at last week’s Meeting Point - Vilnius, and we’re beyond happy that our project Scarecrows was recognized and awarded the Best Film Project in Production prize! Huge thanks to the honorable jury.

This summer Moonmakers began preparations on a new slate of projects that were supported by European Slate Development Creative Europe MEDIA. We are so proud to have been awarded this important fund which is a huge step forward for our company. We have started the development of three new documentary features - “Yalla Yalla” by Mindaugas Survila, “The Reappearance of Antanas” by Giedrė Žickytė, “Searching for The Goddess” by Lina Plioplytė as well as documentary short - “Mad About Trees” by Elena Reimerytė.

Recognised as the foremost documentary pitching event in the Baltic countries, Baltic Sea Docs puts the spotlight on projects originating from the broader Baltic Sea region, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
