Hello everyone and welcome back to Unknown Podcasts. Today we present to you - Reep
Rokas Dapšys has been already playing for five years now. We were having a bit of a discussion with him and he has told us that he never fits into one genre because as mentioned likes to add a bit of variety into his mixes. Most often in his collection, you can meet techno, tech house, indie and dark disco tracks from various artists around the globe.
When asked about what pushed towards DJ'ing, the best answer was that it would be the atmosphere created by the night culture, the rhythm of the electronic music and the growth with it.
Already at the age of 3 years old, he used to listen to the legendary Tiësto trance tracks and couldn’t stop dancing and smiling. As a result, electronic music had become a part of his life and playing allowed him to convey his existing emotions. The best part would be seeing happy people dancing to a good rhythm.
While describing his played genre, he told us that his genre would best be described by the term techno with lots of grooves.
He would call it that because, in music, the most important thing for him is emotion and delicious fast rhythm.
When playing, Reep doesn’t like to stay in one style because he thinks that it doesn’t reveal all the colours in the set.
Therefore, the deep, strong and fast techno kicks mixed with the spices of many other playful genres allows him and the audience to experience the full variety of flavours that lie in the depths of the music.
His most well-known gigs took place at "Dancing // Disco New Year."
So after a brief interview with Rokas, we invite you to follow him on all social media platforms, and now let's hear what he has for us today!

Hello everyone and welcome back to Unknown Faces Podcast.
Today we are having an old friend from our hometown - Rbnr
Rokas Reizgys story as a disc jockey and electronic music producer began at the 2017 "Žiežmarsas" Festival.
He came to the festival influenced and pushed by his girlfriend, not knowing what to expect at all, but as he remembers, when the evening picked up, he immediately realized that it was his vocation.
Those two nights were unforgettable to him and later on formed a complex style in him, based on live sounds, German Ebm motives and rather cold-minimal feelings.
He also mentioned to us that he never refuses to experiment with indie, disco, dark disco or slightly stronger styles like industrial techno or acid house.
The following year, Rbnr became part of that same festival only to be renamed "Sintezė 2018".
So far Rbnr would call that participation his greatest achievement.
When asked about his favourite artist and people he looks up to, he mentions Split Pulse to be his authority
as well as the well-known Manfredas, who had the greatest influence on the style that he currently represents.
Rbnr currently still has a partial influence on the previously mentioned festival.
So now, that we are done with the backstory about Rbnr, let's see what he has for us this beautiful and sunny morning.

On this lovely and romantic Monday, we present to you our first special guest Lukas Shultz!
Lukas Shultz, started his music career about 11 years ago when he got to play with the fruity loops app for the first time on the iPod Touch that was very popular at the moment.
At that time he was also studying in music school, so all of his surroundings consisted of jazz music. In his spare time, he would sit around somewhere with the iPod Touch and just fidget with it while trying to make some sort of melodies, not knowing about all the possibilities that come with the help of a computer. Shultz has mentioned that at first, he started from House music, even EDM at some point, but later on everything turned into a dark and heavy electronic music when he discovered techno for the first time.
What is so special about all of this is how it is involved with Shultz mixes. He always plays his own tracks or at least most of them. He once jokingly mentioned to us "you can't use shazam around me", because most of the tracks are unreleased. That's what's makes this artist so special to us. So let's follow our special guest on all of the social media platforms and let's start this morning differently.

On this cold and gloomy eighth day of February, we introduce to you, Leo.
Aivaras Alionis has been playing for two years now and was
pushed towards music by his colleague and a good friend RBNR who taught him all
playing basics, and then continued to do everything in love with music.
Currently, his main and most played genres are
Dark Disco / EBM / New Beat. This chosen and played style of music
to him sounds like a darkish, sometimes melancholic sound that just makes you wanna dance.
As Leo told us before, it is this style that is closest to his soul. He also mentioned that
every time he plays this genre, it makes him feel "damn good".
So, after we're all warmed up, we invite you to follow Leo on all social media platforms and we wish you a dark, but a damn good Monday.
